Individual therapy is a personal opportunity to receive support and experience growth during challenging times, or to work through a personal or mental health concern. As your therapist, I can be your sounding board, teacher, coach, mirror, advocate, analyst, or problem solver, depending on your needs and desired outcomes.
For those who wish to incorporate their Catholic faith into therapy, I provide an approach that respects and integrates Catholic beliefs and values alongside evidence-based therapeutic practices. Faith can be an important source of hope, meaning, strength, and healing. Therapy may include exploring how prayer, Scripture, the sacraments, Catholic teachings, virtues, forgiveness, relationships, and trust in God can support emotional and spiritual well-being, when appropriate and desired by the client.
I believe that each person is created with inherent dignity and worth and that healing involves caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Therapy does not necessarily make problems disappear, but it can equip you with practical tools and greater self-awareness to cope with life's challenges more appropriately and confidently.
My goal is to support you in working toward meaningful change while helping you live more fully in accordance with your values, faith, and the person God created you to be.
